OUR MISSION
To empower survivors of domestic violence, family abuse, sexual assault, and human trafficking through increasing self-sufficiency and self-worth, education, prevention, victim advocacy, and by offering emergency services, provisions, and shelter.
We have shelter services for women, women and children, and men who are fleeing domestic violence situations. Our shelter is safely tucked away at an undisclosed location that offers warmth, support, and advocacy services to help with getting a fresh start on living your best new life.
Teresa’s Place Child Safety Exchange has created a positive, accessible, and culturally responsive environment where parents and children who have experienced family violence can participate in supervised visitation and exchanges that are safe and conflict-free.
We offer educational classes on domestic violence to local government, business, and community partners within Pueblo County.

RHY program was suspended in Summer of 2025.
Our on-site case managers are here to serve you with intake appointments, advocacy services, referrals, and if needed, emergency services through our domestic violence shelter.
We work with several community partners and nonprofits. We currently have Health Solutions Mental Health Services, Catholic Charities, and United Way onsite to provide coordinated services for our clients through case management referrals.
Through generous donations and grant funding, we are able to support clients in need with necessities like food, clothing, and hygiene items when available.
